need suggestions - considering Lexapro after ADR to Cipro

Hi all, first time that I have posted.

about 18 months ago I had a bad reaction to a rather long treatment with Cipro.

Along with tendo issues I developed severe anxiety, insomnia along with

depressive episodes. For the past 16 months I have been taking Klonopin and just

finsihed a slow taper to get of the stuff. I am 2 weeks of the Klonopin.

During my use of Klonopin and even more so now my anxiety and depressed feeling

have been getting worse and more frequent. To the point that I am strongly

considering starting an SSRI, namely Lex to start with.

My question is has anyone else in this group had any similar type of reaction to

a fluoroquinolone antibiotic (Cipro, Avelox, Levaquin, Floxin, etc...) and did

you use any SSRI for relief from the anxiety/depression/insomnia.
