Guest guest
MS Dawn, That is exctly what I got. A small portion of my right eye is the ecaxt colour of my left eye. My left eye used to have the smae sized portion of the right eye colour then one day it was gone. My parents used to tell me that they had to doctor cut out a "Pie piece" from each eye and swap them. I never noticed when it was gone, i just realized it one day. When people notice my eyes are different colours I tell them my right one has 2 seperate colours and make it open all wide so that they will look at it closely then when i can tell they are not paying attention to anything but my eye I jump at them and scare the Crap out of them. It has got to be the funniest thing in the world, even my buddies that are all macho and stuff jump like little school children. Guest guest
hello, I'm a new member so please bear with me! My Son has sectoral heterochromia (I only found out it had a name last night when I researched it!) He's 17 months old. He has one hazel/brown eye and one blue with a quarter of it having the same hazel as the other one. what worried me was the suggested links to illnesses that I found, such as deafness and bowell problems. Also being less intelligant? His general health seems ok. Can anybody shed any light on this? I mean should I take him to see a doctor to be checked over or am I just being paranoid? Also how common is sectoral heterochromia? I've seen a few people with heterochromia but never sectoral. My husbands cousin has heterochomia :one bright blue and one dark brown so is this likely to be a hereditory thing? I have an older Son who does not have it and my baby daughter has blue eyes and so far they are not changing, though she is still young. sorry about all the questions, it is fascinating though and I'm hoping he won't get picked on at school. Oh and on another note although I'm from the UK I have been to washington and oregon on a holiday and I thought seattle was great! Guest guest
That's good news then, thank you to everybody who has replied I feel a lot better now, it does indeed sound like it's a genetic thing that only crops up every few generations. Think I will stop reading the medical websites and stick with you guys (if you don't mind) as they seem to be very general and a bit too scary with the things they put. Not good for a worried mummy to read!! Jane Re: Re: Washington and Oregon In a message dated 9/10/2006 7:35:34 AM Pacific Standard Time, jane_wilson2@ .co. uk writes: Also being less intelligant? Guest guest
<----Scored 142 when I was 20... I have Horner's syndrome and could possibly die at any moment. Course, so could anyone else. Me 29, the syndrome 0, and I got the ball. Two blue eyes, one is green in the center. Everyone here is blessed. Don't ever forget that... Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it. newfoot <newfoot@...> wrote: Just to reinforce the intelligence thing, I have been tested also and have an IQ over 132 (top 2% of population). The inteelligence thing is related to a number of possible syndromes that may cause heterochromia, and it may be a coincident symptom. It might be fair to say that heterochromia is nothing to worry about unless one of the syndromes is diagnosed.>> That's good news then, thank you to everybody who has replied I feel a lot better now, it does indeed sound like it's a genetic thing that only crops up every few generations.
