I was in the hospital having cochlear implant surgery!

Still have the same internal device, have had a number of upgrades to

the processor, still experiencing CI moments from time to time.

A recent NON-CI moment: three beeps signalling dead batteries just as

I merged onto the freeway the other morning!!
