Hi ,

You might be confusing the 2 different Freedom BTEs. One is a mini

BTE that uses 2 disposable batteries. The other is the regular size

Freedom BTE that uses the 3 disposable batteries OR the rechargeable

batteries. So that might be where you got the 2 battery notion.

The Freedom mini probably runs on disposables, too, but since I don't

have the literature in front of me, I'm not sure. I know the smaller one

doesn't have the port for using cables and such, and uses 2 disposables

for sure.

Whew, so many choices, so MUCH FREEDOM of choice!!

I'm not sure where I got the idea that the Freedom takes two rechargeable

batteries.
