Thank you so much everyone for the great info and advise, especially

about my dreaded shoulder pain. Here is an update, yesterday for

the first time, I felt much much better, hardly any pain. I've been

starting to incorporate some mushy foods in my diet now, yogurt

(plain lowfat) and I had cream of wheat cereal yesterday (pretty

runny), I took my son to Dennis for lunch and was hoping they

had some soup I could eat, they only had beef barley, so I sipped

the broth only. There is a wonderful spanish root called malanga

(if you are not hispanic, you've probably never heard of it), its

similar to a potatoe, but it tastes different (actually better in my

opinion), its soothing for the stomach (or so cubans say, anyone

gets sick to their stomach, they get malanga), so I had one

yesterday (boiled and blended with milk in a blender ( it was soooo

good). I need to be eating solids by June 18th, as we are going on

vacation and still being on liquids would not be an option.

Everything seems to sit well for me, I have not once felt nauseous

or sick, even the pain in my chest and back I had at the beginning

when I drank, is gone. I got the shoulder pain again today, it

seems to get worse while I sleep, so it hurts in the morning. There

is an ointment I put on it that really helps, it seems to numb the

pain. My upper back is also pretty sore. I have lost about 9 lbs,

so I'm happy about that. I felt like my old self again, today will

be the first day I go out to work (I've been working out of my

house), so I pray I have a good day. Oh...wondering if other

bandsters feel this way, everytime I try a new food, I get soooooo

nerveous, what is the worst thing that can happen if a new food

doesn't agree? I think I'm getting all worked up for nothing.

Well...again, thanks everyone, you guys are great! Rosie
