Guest guest Posted February 1, 2007 Report Share Posted February 1, 2007 Hi everybody! Well, hard to believe it's been a year since Betty and I went to Mexico to get our bands but it has! Wow, It has really went by fast! This has been an amazing year for us both. We have talked several times weekly, scheduled our fills together, and have both lost weight pretty consistently with only a few small plateau's. I started this Journey at Almater Hospital weighing in at 200lbs! I was 40 years old and 5'4" tall. I reached my goal weight of 140 in 8 months and maintained it (within 1-3lbs) until January. I am now below my goal weigh and am 138lbs! I have lost a grand total of 83 inches this past year!!!! I have went from a snug size 18 to a comfortable size 4!! ( I Sound like a Jenni Craig commercial don't I? lol..) Betty started out at 245lbs, 5'7" tall and she was 38yrs old. She has a goal of 145lbs and is only 25lbs away! She has lost inches 82 inches! She was wearing a snug 18 as well, and is now in a c omfortable size 10! We both know she'll get to her goal with the help of her band ;-). We are doing great , still learning the hard way @ times, but loving every minute of it! With our new found energy, much improved health and our SEXY, HOT-T-T FIGURES...... ;-) We are living proof! We both agree 100%....The band is the best Gift we could have ever given ourselves! Thanks to Dr. Aceves and his staff, our dreams have become reality! XOXOXO to you all!!
