Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am just over ten months out and can't believe I have hit 100 lbs.I started out a slow loser and was quite discouraged the first few months, convinced that I was the one it wouldn't work for, but I have been steady at 10-12 lbs a month and it has been amazing. But the last couple of months, I have just relaxed everything - not exercising, eating whatever junk I felt like (and finally figuring out that it was causing horrible gas - duh) and haven't lost any weight for about 6 weeks. But the amazing thing to me is that for a change, I didn't gain anything! So I am ready to get back on the wagon and starting doing things right again and lose this last 20 lbs. Onward and upward! Just one question, though - I read a post that said that we need to be careful to not develop a protein deficiency. Is there any way to tell if you are deficient? Is blood work the only way? Thanks so much. Getting back on the boards and reading how great everyone is doing is so inspiring and helpful. Nice to be part of such a big family.
