Guest guest
We have a new member in our family, Peenut (purposely spelled that way), a wonderful black Chihuahua. God gave him to us because he knows we will love him dearly, Zoe my daughter cat hates him but she will learn to love him. We adopted him from on 18 year old who no longer can take care of him. Peenut is about 1yr and 7-9months old estimated, she never even took him to the vet. We went to Petco and got him a new leash, toys, food, harness, treats and a book for us. He was very duty when we picked him up and his leash was all chewed up, not a good situation, the girl had left him out on the patio alone for 1 week and a half, poor thing. He got bathed as soon is we got home and he did very well. Peenut is very happy with us and did great around my nephews yesterday. Now about my surgery, I been trying more foods, low fat lasagna with vegetables and chicken, it went down well. I also tried carne asada witch is broiled very thin tender steak. Chicken stir fry w\ rice, Thai curry with rice and a thinned crust slice of Hawaiian pizza with chicken instead of ham. Now let me clarify that most of these dishes are home made with healthier alternatives like chicken, lots of vegetables and low fat cheeses. I know that if I try to eat out junk food it will probably make me sick with all the fat in them. On Sunday we took the kids out to TCBY and I had a 1/2cup of berry sorbet, witch only had 10grams of sugar, I did good with that. I need to watch my sugar intake because of the Bypass, so I had to ask how much sugar a serving had. The surgery has made me a label reader, I read every food package even before I buy. I try to concentrate on protein and fiber. I have incorporated more vegetables into my diet to prevent constipation. I'm still drinking my isopure over lots of ice and taking my vitamins just about everyday. I forget sometimes but very seldom. My period will be here soon and Im not looking forward to the weight in, maybe I will not do that. I did weight in this morning, I could not help it. As I thought the scale did not move. I think is my period but I do not know, I have been working out, It could be muscle mass. I will see next week. I pray that the scale moves, I feel good, just a little tired because of my period. I have noticed that I'm able to eat a little more at one meal but the next meal I can only eat a yogurt, weird, I thought my pouch would hold the same amount of food each time.
