Guest guest
Congratulations on y'alls upcoming surgery...One suggestion would be: Don't get seats in the middle of an isle...I did and was very uncomfortable, I couldn't relax my arms without being on top of the passenger beside me...When I got to my next lay over I asked to be switched...I told them I had just had surgery and they gave me the exit isle seats...No one can cross over in front of you there...My flight was 9 hours and once I was in comfortable seats all went well... Good Luck...rondana@... wrote: Hi Jo & Rick, You are both having the band?? That's great! You'll do fine but do expect to be uncomfortable on the plane...no other way around it unless you go 1st class$$$$. I would suggest those neck/ roll/ pillow things..sure wish I had one. Just remind yourselves...your sofa/bed is only 7hrs away!! Then you can stretch out and relax..the rest of the recover will seem like a breeze!! Wish you both great success!! Our flight to get home will be approx 7 hours. I am concerned about the length of flight-the discomfort after surgery and in general Airplane seats are not for the obese! Any helpful comments moral support will be appreciated. Also-has anyone done follow-up fills, etc in the Atlanta area?
