Guest guest
Fantastic, Audry! It sounds like you had a great vacation. Reaching that 100 lb loss is such a magical feeling. I'm very happy for you. I wish you the best with your success! Nov. 6, 2002 376/267 Milestone > Hello all I just wanted to share! While on vacation last week I hit the > 100 lb. mark!! There are now exactly one thousand smarter bandsters. I'd never expected to get more than a couple hundred, if that, and didn't really have any goals at all. Of course size isn't everything....it is quality. After all, we are Smarter Bandsters! cheers dan>> Wow Dan, I remember when you started the group. This group has been a lot of help to me so THANX!!! Guest guest
Cheers to YOU for starting the board, and for sharing your valuable knowledge and perspective, and allowing varying points of view without censorship! This is not the case with many other boards. We ARE SmartER ! We have a very personal board here that I'm proud to be a member of and contribute to. Guest guest
Congrats and thank you Dan for supplying such a wonderful network. I would be remiss to also thank Sandy all the others who have given so much of their time and knowledge. You have helped us through so many tough times and decisions. Its so comfoting to know that we are always here to support eachother. Some of us would be completely lost without it. > > This isn't a milestone for me, but for the group. Guest guest
Hello, Aceves Lap-Banders! It has been AGES since I posted on this message board but I finally reached the 100-lb loss milestone (just yesterday, in fact) and just have to " crow " a bit. I was banded Jan 2005, so it's been 21 months - but the journey is absolutely worth it. Have never once regretted having the lapband and am still feeling great. The best thing is that even if the scale is moving ever so slowly, it is going down and not up. I love that. Hola to Nina! We are now living in the Baja, down in Vicente Guerrero. We should get together some time! Please say hello to the good doctor for me. Hang in there, folks. It's a great ride. Guest guest
Jackie that is WONDERFUL! So happy for you. Keep up the good work. I will have to go look up Vicente Guerrero. We lived in San Felipe for five years. Heading down to Baja for part of the winter in about 5 weeks. Happy 100lb milestone! Sherrie
