Tammy,

I agree that is a great job! How often where you exercising? What type of exercising where you doing? You said that you ate a lot of salad. How much dressing did you put on it? I'm a dressing fiend, so I want to know how much I can get away with? I also make my own dressing.

If I can lose 100 pounds in 8 months, and another 100 pounds in 8 months. That means I can start taking acting roles in 16 months. Or try out for America's Next Top Model for the large women category. October 2006 here I come! Oh my goodness, my wedding is in October too!

I exercised 5 times a week. I was jogging for at least 30 minutes to

60 minutes a day. I also weightlifted at least 30 minutes a day 3

times a week. I put enough just to give a taste to the salad and

usually use italian.

... if you want some EXCELLENT info. on the way Tammy was

eating... you gotta get Eat to Live by Dr. Fuhrman, I am on the

program now and I absolutely love it! It's basically veggies, salad,

fruits... a little chicken or fish (optional), he pretty much likes

the complete vegetarian way for fast weight loss, but anyway... he

lets you throw some beans and nuts up in there... and the

psychotherapy(just the way he conditions your thinking about food) is

just the best, I love him and Dr. Phil, because they just straight up

give you the facts, no hand holding, very blunt, and his book has

certainly changed my way of thinking about food and eating!

This has been my weight loss breakdown so far, I weigh every Monday:

Day 1 May 23rd 373 lbs.

Day 8 May 30th 360 lbs. = lost 13

Day 15 June 6th 357 lbs. = lost 3

Day 23 June 13th 347 lbs. = lost 10

I weigh on the same scale every Monday morning... it goes up to 400

pounds, its the HOMeDICS BMI scale, got it at Bed Bath & Beyond for

$39.

I also started taking Tahitian Noni Juice last Monday... its a juice

made from Noni fruit which is supposed to boost your metabolism, give

you more energy, and some other things not pertaining to weight loss,

but anyway you can read about it on my website www.tni.com/shanelle05

I hope you try the book, and I are on the program, you can ask

her how she likes it too!

Hope this helped a little too,

Shanelle :o)

Tammy,

Ah good, so hopefully I will see results with an hour of swimming and 30 minutes of weight training. Italian dressing...yuck! I better stick with lemon juice.

Here's to more weight loss and healthier lifestyles

Perfect! Averages about 2 pounds a week, just as it should.

Have fun! My grandparents went on a few as a couple, and my grandmother kept

going as a widow, that's how much they loved them. One of these days we'll

have enough money to go on one, especially now that Royal Caribbean Lines

have 3 ships that leave just a few blocks from my front door!

Hey that is 20 lbs between us, pretty amazing isn't it. I'm not sure I did

it right either. When I entered my new weight, it added it down below the

other numbers but when I went back in, it was where it was suppose to be.

Not sure how I did that. Funny what a challenge can do. in NY

I agree . I have noticed with myself that I tend to lose on the

scale every other week. I used to get discouraged, but someone adised

me to measure myself. So now I measure myself every two weeks.

The psychiatrist was a string bean! At least the psychologist/marriage

counselor is a normal sized woman. She didn't give me any insight. She

just said I'm depressed and I need medication. Interesting that she can

figure that out after talking to me for 30 min. :)

Be careful what meds she gives you. Look into them first. Some can cause weight gain.

It WILL get easier. :] My quads were so sore, I couldn't do anything

outside of a shuffle for a day or two. Trainer said to eat Bananas

(potassium) & increase magnesium.
