Our New Year resolution should be: Let's get along with each other...I love this board and hate to see the bickering...I'll be one of the 1st to say "I'm sorry" if I have said something that may have been taken wrong by someone else...That would be the last thing I would ever want to do, is to hurt someones feelings...Each of you are wonderful, caring people...Remember we are in the same boat together...No matter how much weight we need to lose....It's still weight...I don't know my grammer very good, but I'll try my best to word my posts so NO one gets their feelings hurt... Come on gang...Let's make up and be happy... I Love you guys & gals.... ~Rena~miamiangel888 <miamiangel888@...> wrote: If you guys would STOP trying to psycho-analyze everything I say on here you may actually read the posts and get the point!I am NOT taking the comments directed right at me, I mentioned that the way they are worded is not only insensitive, it is rude. Hello everyone, I have been reading these posts for about a month now. They have been mostly helpful and encouraging. I have been interested in weight loss surgery since 2002. An unexpected health problem sidetracked me for two years and eliminated the possibility of the gastric bypass. (Praise the Lord!). As I was beginning to investigate again our 23 year old son died unexpectedly. Emotionally, everything got put on hold, again. Now, I am moving forward. I would like to respond to the comments by saying that I weigh more than anyone I have seen post here. I am so happy for those of you who at the 'obese weight' of 200 - 250 lbs. have the good fortune of the 'band' being available to you. You have the chance to safely get your weight under control and live life to the fullest. How different my life would have been if at 250 lbs. I

would have had that opportunity. Believe it or not the 'Kaiser doctors' said I didn't weigh enough to have by-pass at that point. I contacted several of the doctors in Mexico and have been denied by two of them. I had again given up all hope when I got an e-mail from Nina. It was just a general follow-up sent out to folks that had inquired. I e-mailed her back and told her thank you but since I had been denied by 2 doctors already I wasn't going to pursue any farther. She wrote me that Dr. A. is very good and that he takes a lot of referrals from other doctors on patients they won't do. I told her my medical condition and attached a list of medications I take. Amazinglyshe gave me hope! As of today I haven't pursued any farther. I did not want to hear anything negative over the holidays. My New Year's Resolution: This is MY YEAR! 1. Make an appointment with my physician and discuss the information I have from Nina, review Dr. A's forms and discuss my health issues. (please note here that my doctor was the one that suggested by-pass surgery to me back in 2002. He is aware of all my health issues and is still in favor of this for me. 2. Send the medical forms to Dr. A. 3. Pray for a favorable response. IF FAVORABLE 1. Praise the Lord! 2. Secure funds. 3. Set the date 4. Go for it!!!! IF NOT FAVORABLE 1. Praise the Lord! 2. Forget surgery for me but be happy for all of you! 3. Remember every day is a blessing and take only one at a time. At 250 lbs. I was a cow....at 350 I was just a bigger cow and at blah, blah blah

lbs, I am an even bigger big cow! God Bless each of you this new year and may we all be the biggest losers of all! Jane Moss Ontario, California D.O.B. (date of birth) 1.14.48....I will be 59 next Sunday. I would love to lose 100 lbs. by 1.14.08...my 60Th birthday. FYI On 1.14.07 We will celebrate our 40Th wedding anniversary. He loved me then and he loves me still. I just would like the chance of giving him a little less to love! rena brown <rena71857@...> wrote: Our New Year resolution should be: Let's get along with each other...I love this board and hate to see the bickering...I'll be one of the 1st to say "I'm sorry" if I have said something that may have been taken wrong by someone else...That would be the last thing I would ever want to do, is to hurt someones feelings...Each of you are wonderful, caring people...Remember we are in the same boat together...No matter how much weight we need to lose....It's still weight...I don't know my grammer very good, but I'll try my best to word my posts so NO one gets their feelings hurt... Hi Jane,

I am sure that we all wish you the very best wishes

for a great year. I pray that you get a " thumbs up "

and that your wishes come true.

Let us know what the decision is.
