Guest guest Posted November 26, 2006 Report Share Posted November 26, 2006 Absolutely wonderful! I am so impressed with the "new you"! How much have you lost in total? I am still the same for now. I haven't lost since having all the saline removed from my band back mid-October. In fact, I have gained a little but not enough to worry about...probably just from fluids since I went without for a while. I am going back to Mexico on Dec. 9 to see Dr. Aceves. I am anxious to get a report from him about my band and make sure everything is ok with it. He has such a way of comforting that I just really need to see him. I told my husband that I wish I didn't have to wait another 2 weeks but could go today! Believe it or not, I am having a problem with infection at the site of my port incision. Here I am 9 weeks out and am dealing with a problem such as this! I swear, I think it is from the Dr. I saw in Atlanta. I just don't really trust that she knew exactly what she was doing like Aceves does. I am on my third round of antibiotics and will get a refill tomorrow but the infection still remains. I would give anything for it to go away! Not only is it uncomfortable, I just think it is disgusting! Anyway, I didn't mean to get off on this tangent. I really just wanted to tell you that you look wonderful! Keep up the good work. I know all the women (wife and daughters) in your life are so proud of you!
