Guest guest
I'm not in Arizona but this sounds like a grand idea, neither am I a banster, but a GBP with Dr A, (next wed) so ya'll keep this AZ thing going and I may make it by the end of the year. I have good friends in Mesa and would love a chance to catch up with them too. WE have even considered buying a retirment home out there since we loved it during our visit. Guest guest
Ken... We have no dates, times, or places set. Everything is totally open. What's a good day for you? Where are you, Phoenix??? I'd like to find a place that is easy for everyone to get to. I'd love to meet people from here. But fair warning to everyone, I want soooo much to go up to each and every bandster and just give them a big hug. I want to meet others near me that have a band. I don't know ANY banded people in Phoenix in real time, just on line. I'm really excited about this. Spouses, friends, everyone is welcome as far as I am concerned! Looking forward to meeting you, Ken! > Elam and I have been emailing back and forth and we would like to > have a bit of a get together with everyone in the Phoenix, Arizona area > (or folks farther away are more than welcome). > > I know of several folks that are in the Phoenix Metro area and today we > were tossing around some ideas. Guest guest
I think that is way cool, that you are taking someone with you to check it out. Think about how much confidence that will give them. I have a friend here, Florida, that really wants the lap band. in December, she waivered back and forth. My gastric is being done in Jan 10 and she wanted the lap band to be done the same time I was getting mine done. But then she chickened out. I told her it was just going to cost her more because if I have to go back out there with her, she has to pay my air fare. I think her fears is: she is not yet ready to give up some of her foods. Guest guest
M... I'm really excited for her. She's going to do sooooo well! We had discussed the struggles of dieting and weight loss a long time ago and when I got my band I emailed her and told her all about it. She's really on board and thrilled with allllll the possibilities! We are going to Mexicali this weekend so she can check out the hospital, meet Dr. A and Dr. C, meet the staff, meet some patients, see how it all works, and hopefully she'll feel it is right for her. I think she will. You know, she's one of those people that even heavy she is really a pretty lady. I can't wait to see the skinny version of her next.magnoliamouth <karenostrom@...> wrote: I think that is way cool, that you are taking someone with you tocheck it out. Think about how much confidence that will give them.I have a friend here, Florida, that really wants the lap band. inDecember, she waivered back and forth. My gastric is being done inJan 10 and she wanted the lap band to be done the same time I wasgetting mine done. But then she chickened out.I told her it was just going to cost her more because if I have to goback out there with her, she has to pay my air fare. I think her fears is: she is not yet ready to give up some of herfoods. __________________________________________________
