I am about 1 1/2 weeks ahead of you, I got banded on 02/27. I did not experience too much stomach pain, apart from a little bit of gas and the constant growling, but I know exactly what you are talking about with the "leakage", in this group they have a term called PBing (productive burping) in the 2nd week of my "concentration camp diet" I came up with a new term "PFing", I wont get too graphic, but I'll just say, I know what you are going through with that. I found that once I started on the full liquids that problem went away, and you are almost to that stage. Dont worry too much about all us girls, we dont bite (too hard).

Only you – still hungry?

Sorry to say that I haven’t been hungry yet and it is hard for me to

think of drinking much – tee hee – I know you hate me…BUT…I

have had the ‘turkey squirts’ like no other – during the day

I can’t make it to the bathroom – I can’t even feel it is

coming – started to wear diaper because my hubby got tired of all my

clothes soaking in our sink – seriously, I even woke up one morning

drenched – YUK! So I guess some of this is normal.

Hey, how much have you lost? Hang in

there – our next stage is almost ready to come – I dream of even

milk!

Keep on keeping on!!!

Hi Craig

You sound like a great guy! Your wife is

lucky to have a husband

who can admit to such things!

The only stomach ache I have had is from constant

hunger, or rather

starvation. Maybe if I did have a stomach

ache, I wouldn't have any

appetite. Unfortunately, there has been no

appetite change since my

surgery.

I did, however, have some diarrhea. Take

some immodium for it. I

just cut up a pill in 3 pieces and took

that. That cured it and I

haven't had it since.

I'm sorry your trip home was problematic.

And I hope you are doing

well now! How are you doing with the

all-liquid-I-wanna-kill-

someone- diet? LOL Can you all tell

I'm having problems with

it......

Good luck!

Yes I am and Yes

she is ;-) The stomach and other pains have since abated. I get no feedback,

except for a little tummy ache, when I drink too much at a time, like 2 cups or

so. I feel no restrictions at all as of yet. The all Liquid diet is not a

problem for me. I have no hunger at all yet. If it stays that way this will be

a breeze. There have already been some positive changes. One of my daughters,

they both live in Honolulu, calls me up 3 or 4 times a day just to say how much

fun it is to hear me being so happy on the phone. Talk about luck, I quite literally

have the 2 best daughters in the whole world, but don’t get me started.

I have had

trouble getting up to even 200-300 calories/day so far but I know that will get

better. I work out on the treadmill 45 minutes a day. Unfortunately the loss

came to an extreme slow down after just 8 days. I lost close to 17 Lbs in that

time and only about 3 in the last 4 days. I know to just wait it out and it

will kick back up again. At less than 300 Cal/day it is doing everything it can

to conserve its stores, but I will, of course, win. I have been down the weight

loss road before, as have most of you. I went from 305 down to 173 and stayed

there for 2 years. That was the longest I could maintain it. Sice then I have

been up and down several times. This is just the tool I need to get there again

and to stay there now.

Thank you for your reply, but I do not live in Mexico, I live in Riverside CA. Close to the border, but yes I have heard that the recovery is hard, but I feel that it is very worth every sacrafice.  Nydia:

It has now been 2 weeks since

surgery. Most pains, as minor as they were, are now gone. I am having absolutely

no problem with the “diet”. I am not hungry at all. To daye is is

all clear liquids but I kinda like that. I am much happier already and able to

do some physical things I haven’t been able to do in awhile. I know its

not all directly related tio the suregery but the mind is a very powerfull

thing, especially when aided by a tool such as this. Good luck. I will be

anxious to hear how you do

Nydia,

Congratulations on your surgery date! You

must live in Mexico?

As for me, the post op

period has been HELL. No pain or anything,

just with the diet. It has been awful for me,

while for some others, it's been easy. I

don't get it, but that's how its been. Good luck!
