Guest guest
I am so stoked! I now am able to fit into Levi's jeans again, no more pull up fake looking jeans from Walmart. They are still big because of the panniculous (apron) is still big, but I feel so good being in " Normal " jeans! I plan on buying another pair just so I'll have two, but then will wait till those start to fall off before I buy anymore. I just wanted to share my NSV. I now weigh at 210lbs Kelli
Guest guest
WOO HOO!!! YOU GO KELLI! I am so proud of you girl! Hey, I dug around in my email and found the first email I got from you. It was in June 2005! I didn’t remember that you had found me off of Obesity Help. Anyway it was cool re-reading your emails and realizing how far you have come. I am just so happy for you! Guest guest
Thanks! Yes, it's been quite a long journey, and each step has been a revelation that's for sure! I'll be on my way later today to pick up some new pants, but have to make sure I don't go overboard since they'll be too big in no time soon...gosh, I love saying that they'll be too big on me...hehehe. I am having some issues with the new fill, cause I don't eat much and I forget that I cannot eat as much as I did prior to the second fill. My worry is to get enough calories/protein to kickstart the weightloss...I haven't lost in a week, but then Aunt Flo had just visited. Anywho...thanks alot for your inspiration cause you've been mine since I started this program. Take Care! Kelli>> WOO HOO!!! YOU GO KELLI! I am so proud of you girl! Guest guest
Kelli, How is the port pain? Remember that with the amount of weight of weight loss you have had nothing is the same, your port moves as you body changes, it may be harder or easier to do the fill than before. it will be difficult to compare each fill. I hope your new jeans do not hit the port area and irritate it more Nina > > > > WOO HOO!!! YOU GO KELLI! I am so proud of you girl! Guest guest
Thanks and Congrats on your weight loss journey!!!! I about cried when I pulled on the Levi's and they fit, they are very loose in the legs, which I always loose weight there first but it's the tummy that needs more work. Anywho, I feel great and I feel more " normal " in fact today, when I went to buy some jeans I liked these one pair at Fashion Bug but they said Stretch on them...I put them back...I'm not going to wear anything stretch anymore!!! So, I went to another store and got me another pair of Levi's...it's either regular jeans or forget it!!! I've worn stretch pants for over 15yrs...and lets just say I am not crying now that I can wear reg. jeans....hehehehe. Kelli > > Congratulations ! What a great NSV. Guest guest
Hey Kelli, One tip is to get 2 pair new jeans, then get the rest at Goodwill or salvation army because trust me, you will be out of them so fast and into the next size before you know it! I actually still wear stretch because they are comfortable but I know what you mean. Sometimes I put on some “regular” jeans just to remind myself that I can! Guest guest
Yea, I started thinking of going to a second hand store, however sometimes you just can't find those sizes. I bought my new pair at Walmart, was their brand faded glory. I thought i had picked up the Levi's brnd but when I got home they were the others...which are still nice and were only $15. I figure I'll wait till those start falling off my rear, then pick up another 2 more, hopefully at GoodWill . Thanks for the tip! > > > > Congratulations ! What a great NSV.
