I had the MGB on Nov. 9, 1999 at the age of 67 and have lost over 102 pounds. I am doing great. I am looking forward to meeting you at The Mini-Convention and Holiday Party on Dec. 15th. Ralph and I will be going down from Burlington on Dec. 14th and stay until Sunday. I am glad you are doing so well. Betty Doris Garibay > Hi Everyone, > Just wanted to let you all know my husband went for a Prostate Biopsy last Tuesday. We went to see his doctor today and found out he has Prostate Cancer. He goes to the hospital on Oct. 11th to have a bone scan and will have the Prostate surgery on Oct. 15 or Oct. 29th. The doctor told us today the surgery will take about two hours and he will be in the hospital for two or three days. He will also have a catheter for three weeks.
