Guest guest
, Just wanted to let you know as an FYI - the ZMA Fuel is supposed to be taken 30-60 minutes before bedtime, on an empty stomach. The body's maximum daily release of growth hormone occurs about 90 minutes after going to sleep. Both zinc and magnesium increase the effect of growth hormone. Zinc also promotes the anabolic effect of testosterone, and magnesium increases muscle relaxation. Healing, tissue repair, and muscle growth are maximized during sleep. This is the reason it is recommended that ZMA be taken between dinner and bedtime. Thought that might help increase the good effects you are having! Here's to good health! Hugs, D. in Concord, NC Dr. R - 3/29/01 279/258 Re: Request for Supplement Info Here's what I take: Protein drink (GNC's Optimum in Double Chocolate)(daily but I have skipped a few days) MelaCal (multivitamins with extra calcium)(3 a day, usually 2 early and one late) Fish Oil ( 3x a week) Tums as instructed Prilosec nightly (I have skipped a few nites without any heartburn and plan to quit when this script runs out) ZMA Fuel (Daily in the AM) Creatine (Sometimes..I am working on taking this before work outs but forget it more often than not) Citracel, nightly 1 scoop in Fruit Punch Drink That's the list. Sometimes I forget and don't do as well, but usually I'm there! Went away for a few days to be with friend in hospital and TOTALLY blew it and feel like crapola for it! So they DOOO help. I will always keep on the vitamins and Citracel and ZMA fuel, that I know. I feel too good for having done it. As I learn to eat more, I might only do protein drinks every other day, not sure yet. OH I take a B12 shot monthly just to be super safe too! HUGS in Ark 3-
