Birth after hip replacement

Hi, I had THR about 14 months ago and feel great. No complications, no hurt

after the initial recovery. I'm newly pregnant with my second child, and my

ortho surgeon said this is fine. I initially thought that I would have to have

c-section for this pregnancy, because of the hip replacement and previous

c-section, but I just googled it and saw that people do have vaginal births

after THR's. Does anyone have experience with this? I have metal/ceramic mix

so that I could have children without fear of the metal ion issue. Or does

anyone have any experience with pregnancies after THR at all?
