Guest guest
After being diagnosed last summer with severe degenerative osteoarthritis of the hip, seeing the hip specialist in early April, setting a THR date in June, I am wondering if my situation is bad enough to warrant surgery. I'm in the education field, so the summer is the best time to have surgery, but I have parts of days where I seem to manage quite well. It's just that nights are really hard because I keep waking up because I can't get in a comfortable position. I also want to be able to walk around my neighborhood or a shopping center and enjoy the walk. Have others gone through any type of questioning the surgical plan after the date has been secured?
