This link is very offensive and disturbing. Supposedly this guy Tucker Max

is a Comedian and well is a very sick individual. He showed up at the

convention in WI and wrote a blog about it on his web page.

And some people wonder why the LPA events have an issue with the

general public attending with no personal or professional

relationships with an individual with dwarfism.

I went to this website and it is very upsetting. However if someone

where to post a website link in the future that has this much

vulgarity, etc, my request is to please mention that this website is

not suitable for all audiences to warn people of the content.

It wasn't just offensive and distrubing, it was very disgusting and

vulgar! I was shocked and I figured it would be ridiculous, but not

vulgar and degrading to this extent.

Hopefully a bunch of individuals will be able to figure out what to

do about getting this website removed, I would love to help, but I'm

unable to.

I agree with a here, I went there as well, and only wished I

hadn't now, because of all he said, and those things not just against

us as a group of people but everything he said.

I am choosing not to reply or rebuff him, as I have personally known

a few like him, and the one thing I've known about those like him,

and this is just my opinion, you won't change him, and if anything

whatever you may say back to him privately or on his web page will

just provide more food for fodder to chew on and to belittle us even

more. And when people " chew " on you, so to speak, you eschew (or

avoid) them, not get back in their face because that's what they

want you to do.

Yeah that made me mad just reading it. It's ignorance like this that makes it

hard on Average height people such as myself who would go to a Little persons

function for educational purposes. I wouldn't blame any of you for being

suspicious of me if I were at a LP Conference because of this idiot. Well at

anyrate that's why I don't bother, I'll just stick to the two groups that I'm on

to be educated about dwarfism.

How do we know the guy even went to the convention? He could've heard about the

convention, read up on it - viewed photos of past conventions and decided to

poke fun of the whole thing.

I agree with Grady 100% here. Guys like these thrive on negative attention

and yanking people's chains. There is little we can actually do, because he

was careful not to post any copyrighted photos or written material. Any

emails we send him will only amount to more fuel for his fire.

This worst thing that could happen to this guys is to be ignored. Silence.

Maybe one day he too will have a dwarf child and spend the rest of life

eating crow (or accidentally visit the nightclub of my friend in D.C.,

the biggest, baddest LP bouncer I've ever seen, and then find out what a

knuckle sandwich tastes like). ;-)

Truly, the only way to silence people like this is to change society's

perception of LPs. If everyone thinks we're wonderful (which we are), then

when people like him mouth off, everyone will treat him like a jerk. In

fact, most people I know already wouldn't want to hang around this guy or

think he's funny. And the ones that do are worthless pieces of protoplasm

anyway.

Unfortunately, on the web, you can find just about every imaginable freak

there is. There are KKK sites, anti-Semitic sites denying the Holocaust,

porn sites galore...just chalk this guy up as one of those, and don't go

there. And for all you young men and women out there who attend LPA

conferences, don't get so desperate about having sex that you sleep with any

stranger you meet (AP or LP). You never know whose blog you will end up on.

Like Grady, my advice, take it or leave.

One point someone wrote to me privately, and it is a good point, but

really my stance of not commenting back to him on his blog still

stands, is that what if, and this is a big what if? What if that guy

is a pedophile? A stalker? A rapist? And perhaps, only of lp's too?

Then if you feel that way, and you could be very right with your

hunch, then I would immediately contact the web master, the owner of

that site, if it's not him obviously, then find out it's or his

approximate location and contact the local authorities saying to them

that you have reason to believe he is such and that they should

investigate him for such. Because I still hold to my belief that if

we go there and say, " You know, I am a dwarf and I'm outraged! How

dare you demean us in such a manner on your blog! I want you to

officially recant and remove every nasty thing you said about us, and

right now too! " This is the reply you'll get from such an individual

as him, >>>>>>>>>>>>> LOL! Also, you'll get that from his friends as

well. So if you wanna go and blast him on his blog, free feel to do

so, but count me out. But, if you feel he is a possible serial

rapist, stalker or what have you, then telling him that he's a jerk

on his own blog page isn't gonna help him get apprehended, or for

that matter help us to avoid him, right?

Also, what another said on here can be true too. How, do we really

know he was even there? To which I'd like to add, how do we even know

the original poster or informant, so to speak, who made us aware of

his blog page is not even he himself, or one of his friends baiting

us to come visit his blog so we can blast it with comments so they

can even laugh more at us?

And I think Bill said this, if not, oops. lol If we as lp's, male or

female, do sleep with unknown strangers, big or small for that matter

as even a little shorty can write a nasty blog entry on a fellow lp,

so let's not say ap's would only do that. If we then sleep with such

individuals, of our free choice of course, I'm not talking about rape

or being drugged against our will to have sex with them, so please

don't write me and say that I meant that, at our Conference, then to

only have that private encounter mentioned on the other participant's

blog, well, my friends, we are to blame as much as they were for

making it public information on their blog, the same private matter

you two had to begin with, dontcha think?

ps-if does make one think as we go into the future with the current

events of today in mind, of safety, security, threats against all

types of people, not just us, and what have you, sad to say, I see a

time when all Conference goers will be made to wear one of those

bracelets that will have to be scanned too for each event or function

room we enter, identifying those as being bonafide registered

Conference goers, and not those who wondered in off the street to

oogle at us. But, in the light of all the crazies out there, remember

this one too, mental deficiencies affect us all, even us. So, who's

not to say that one day, an off the wall lp nut case will come to our

conference in Cagney style, lol, and blast away ONLY the

average sized children, siblings, spouses, and gf/bf's of us,

saying, " You dirty rotten filthy big ap's, take that! " Ratta-tat-tat!

haha I may kid you here, but remember sometimes the truth is stranger

than fiction;).

Grady - you made some excellent points. In my mind though, I don't think this

person is those things you say. I just think he is just someone who likes to

party, sleep with girls, and talk about it. He gets off on attention. That's

why responding to his blog or through emails would just make this worse. He is

like the internet Stern. A few years back, MTV did a " True Life " episode

on him. He seemed like a normal guy....then again, what is normal? Was he

actually there in Milwaukee?? I don't know. The only people who know for sure

are those group of lps who " supposedly " hung out with him. I did like your

suggestion about wearing wristbands throughout the conference. The bands would

be for ap family and friends of lps that are registered. It's just sad that it

has got to this point. Especially now, with little people getting more

publicity (reality shows, documentries, etc), people are becoming more curious.

Just my 2 cents....sometimes I wish I had 2 cents in my pockets.
