Great Recommendations by ; I also was 50(now 51)when i had mine

done and the exercises and everything help to make a complete person;

I can ride my bike to work, walk the dog and do most chores around the

home; I'm not going to play basketball, golf or do some other things

until next summer when I'm in better shape; my doctor was from

Western Orthopaedic Clinic next to the Salem Hospital here in Salem,

Oregon;

you may be able to get in faster than I did; it was about two months

for me because so many elderly people had fallen during a small week

of snow we'd had last year and since we don't get much snow on the

valley floor many people aren't used to it...anyway, here's there # if

you'd like to call...I had Dr. Sewell but there are some other good

ones in his office; he was fantastic, the hospital was great, the food

was even good, and my therapy went very very well....Western

Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine...503-561-7185 Fax is

503-561-7192 Sandy Tumbleson is the office manager and she and her

staff are very efficient. Hey, maybe if you go in I can get a free

dinner somewhere for recommending you..ha-ha...anyway, good luck and

have a great New Year..get well soon.Where are you in Alaska? I have

friends in Ketchikan, Kotzebue, and relatives in Sitka and used to

have some in Anchorage but they've mostly died off or moved back to

the " states " ....richbb in Oregon.
