Guest guest
Greeating all, its has been awhile since I have written to the group. I wanted to let you all know, I just finished my one year follow-up exam with Dr. Dodgin. If you remember, I am 33 and had a anterior approach hip replacement, ceramic on ceramic. Four days after surgery, while at home, I dislocated in bed. To date, I have been Dr. Dodgin's first and only hip dislocation. Now at 1 year, I am GREAT. Pain free. I just finished training and walking in the Avon Breast Cancer walk with my best friend. 39 miles over 2 days- July 7-8. All restrictions have been lifted (accept the normal: no running, no extreme sports). The biggest announcement was that we can start to try and have a baby. He gave us the green light. YEAH!!! I am so glad I went through with the surgery and all the recovery. The post - surgery was really hard but it was all worth it. My contact information is up to date in the database. Feel free to email me if I can help. __________________________________________________
