Guest guest
Hi Kathy Hang on in there- not too much longer now. I am 6 weeks post op LTHR today and I can't believe how far I've come since my op. It's hard to imagine what life will be like isn't it? I can remember reading the post op postings with envy and now here I am 6 weeks after the event. I have been cleared to use 1 crutch this week which has given me a free hand and so I can begin to do some normal stuff again! I can rotate my hip left hip in so that I can reach down the outside of my leg and get my shoe on. I hadn't been able to rotate my hip inwards pre op and so when I shaved my legs yesterday, I saw the back of my left calf for the first time in ages!!! Life is returning! I look forward to hearing about your progress All the best Lesley > > Hi All > I am in more and more pain everyday, it is such a struggle to get up > and moving simple walking causes so much pain.
