Guest guest
Dear All, I received the following email from a grateful member. I share it with you as I believe my reply will help some of you and we can all learn from this person's goals and obstacles. It was a reminder of THANKSGIVING for me as well. Before I share this letter may I thank you all for your participation on the site to keep the site active and useful which in turn allows or forces me and the TEXPERTS to update the site making it reliable and current. " Dear Member (name with held as this is a private email), You are MOST welcome for any help that you received from this site, TEXPERTS ( I speak on behalf of them) and myself. I appreciate your gratitude. ALL of us work very hard to man/staff this site. It must be updated daily and it sometimes takes hours to respond to math problems or to make new tutorials etc. I am very HAPPY that you have been helped. May I suggest that you go to the files section and find a folder called: " Resume Building " Inside the Folder called Resume Building you will find three files. The first and the last one should help you to get read to `sell' your self. The second one will help you to post your resume or advertisement of your self. I also suggest that you go to various hospitals and retail pharmacies to speak to the Pharmacy Manager or Director to see if there are any job openings. Two styles. While your English is good, it is not perfect. If your accent is heavy you may find it difficult to get hired, as GOOD communication is KEY to healthcare. Therefore employers can sometimes overlook other GREAT qualifications that you have. If this is the case you may want to enroll in an English SPEAKING class ESL. I say this to help you not hurt your feelings. It is REALITY unfortunately. Also I suggest that you study interview techniques IF you are rusty or do not interview well. However I have a hunch that you do interview well….that is to say know how to answer questions. I hope this helps. If you make a resume please feel free to send it to me for my review on the English OR send it to a friend who is American born with English as his/her first language to review. You may also take it to an English teacher if you have one. I hope this helps you. I am going to post this without your name. I think it will help others as well. Again THANK YOU for your appreciation of all of the efforts of the TEXPERTS and myself. Good luck in all you do, Happy Thanksgiving, Respectfully, Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS
