Ron a member of this site emailed me and with his permission I am posting the

It is funny that this question came up, as one of my relatives just started on

this medication about two weeks ago.

The topic : Advair Diskus Inhaler

Question: Why discard after 30 days.

From my discussions with my relative's physicians, they cautiously agree or at

least gave me somewhat of the same answer: It is mainly a question of getting

the right dosage of the medication if there is any left after thirty days.

The package is foiled so there is a possible moisture/potency factor. The main

thing was they were concerned with getting the right amount of medication each

time used.

Usually lasting 30 days.
