Guest guest
Well i took the test yesterday and thanks to all those extensive hours of studying i am quite congident that i did well. there was not one math problem that i didnt have trouble answering. i took my time and double checked the questions and answers. i think i did well. anyway as for what i did afterward, i went to my gf's house, took a nap. went out to lunch with her. went to go see clerks 2 then went to some party. plus if i passed the exam, she'll be throwing me a party. if i did i would feel very accomplished. i did this on my own. no classes or private tutors or anything. but this site helped a lot along with a couple of others. just wanted to say thanks a lot. > > What are you doing after the exam? > > 1. Guest guest
I'm not sure what other sites i used. i just googled for PTCE study help or tips i also googled ptcb study help. just found a few. this one helped the most though. and yes the math was very easy for me. but im a huge math nerd so i dont want others to think they can just skip on studying the math. for the most part the test was composed of alligations and finding quantities of compounds/solutions that you have to use the (FV)(FS)= (IV)(IS) formula. but the questions contained example prescriptions which means you have to know your unit conversions, and your abbreviations like q8h etc etc. this site helped the most when it came down to the math. i woould have to say that the test was about 60% math problems so i would stress that a lot. and from what ive read and heard, a lot of people are under the impression that the math questions are weighed more than the other questions. but of course you still have to go into the test knowing everything else like the law and the safety aspect of it all. you also need to know generic/brand for your top 200 or fast movers. know what drugs are schedule 2 and such. i was a little dissapointed that there wasnt a question concerning accutane though. the study guide i used kind of stressed the new law about it and the prerequisites for obtaining a prescription of accutane. but oh well. as far as myself, i do not work in a pharmacy. im currently a server at a restaraunt here in texas. but i studied for about 6 months. 4 of which were just casual glancing at the guide. i made it a point to study at least an hour a day after that point then 2 weeks before the test i found myslef studying almost all day long each day. i couldnt even sleep the night before because i was so nervous. i got to the site at 6am and still studied before hand. lol. oh well, sorry for the long post but i hope this helps gixxerguy > > > > What are you doing after the exam? > > > > 1.
