A question about the scope of the group

Hi all,

Few weeks ago, some members of the group complained about too many not

relevant subjects of emails ( as I remember, it was about Cayenne pepper at that

time) .

I had the same feeling, meaning that I wasn't comfortable with all these

out-of-topic emails, but ok, ....I did not reply since I guessed it was only for

a short time, and soon we would come back to the many health friendly derivates

of coconut: Virgin oil, RBD oil, milk, cream, flour and water.

Unfortunately, the trend grew up and now, the main part of the emails I received

are about other supposed ways to cure various ailments.

I subscribed to this excellent group in order to get information and shared

experience about coconut products. Not about anything else. And for the late

past weeks , I read many many things about many many other products.

I am not interested at all in this.

So, I will have to switch my group settings on " read messages on website " , with

the risk to miss some important topics...

Is it really what the owner(s) of the group is ( are) wanting? To get a

multi-directional group, not only devoted to Coconut?

I am not relctant to read occasionnally about other interesting stuff, but for

now....that's too much!

What is your feeling about this, should we create a new group about coconut

only, or should we come back to the topic of this group, or should we accept the

current change in the group? Curious to know what you think!
