Guest guest
Yes, the spicy hotness from the pepper is what I meant which you can feel on your tongue and the back of your throat. At 1/16th of a tsp in 8 oz of warm water, the spicy hotness is very tolerable. In fact I am having me a cup now and just gave my dog a tsp of my tea in her meal to help with her ongoing ailments. Good girl!! Glad you were able to keep the doctors from pushing statins on you. I notice that whenever someone has a cardiovascular event, doctors immediately put them on statins even though their cholesterol was never high to begin with. Keep up the good habits. phine No, I am NOT on any statin drugs, even though both of my doctors say I should be. But my cholesterol has never been over 200, and just came in at only 180 on my most recent test. And I am not going to risk having severe leg cramps again, for the sake of what I consider to be a totally unnecessary drug--for me. And that's not counting the other potential hazards of statins that I've read about. When you said " the hotness goes away in minutes, " are you referring to the " hotness " of the peppers--the spicy-hotness? Cryss .
