Guest guest
Yes, I have heard baking soda really works for heartburn, my mother took it for awhile. but her doctor told her not to do that as baking soda hardens her arteries! --- Cryss <cryssnfrank@...> wrote: > Thank you, Stuck! Guest guest
I discovered the Apple Cider Vinegar cocktail back in 98. Drinking that at least three times a day and changing my my eating habits helped my health tremendously. I had FMS back them.............still do but have it under control. This cocktail does wonders for your whole body. It cleanses the blood stream,,,,,,,,,,,,, also gives you much needed energy........... relaxes you........... relives alot of stress............. and also can help in losing weight along with proper eating habits. I would reward myself one day a week, usually on Saturdays, in eating whatever I wanted. From Sunday through Friday I ate less meats, more protein, less startches such as breads, potatoes, etc. Ate more veggies, fish (which I love anyway............not fried) and my minimum of 3 ACV cocktails a day. I was at 248 lbs and dropped down to 198 that year. I also learned to take the proper nutrients, vitamins to help me with my FMS. Of course by 2001 I has an ankle injury that would not heal so I was forced to go to a doctor and he about died when he found out I had not been to a doctor in over 20 years. It was then that I was told about my Thyroid problem and they symtoms I had made sense to me like being cold all the time, sweating and such and that was when I started on the Synthroid. Like I said in a previous email it seemed to work fine for about 2 years until they started upping my dose and I just quit cold turkey and did my own research and found VCO and Armour. I will never allow these Quacks to force me to take meds that after researching I find to be more harmful to my body in the long run. Most meds may help for one thing but often cause other problems. Just watch the TV commercials about meds and they all say something like this.............. " this ________________ is great for ________________ but may cause one or more of the following............and they list all the other conditions that med can cause. WHAT! I'll stick to the natural way of healing my body with the good Lords help! I'm 61 years old and I want to live another 39 years at least! Even another 50 years would be real cool as well! :-) Carol

Guest guest
Sorry about that! I meant to give the recipe. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR COCKTAIL 2 tablespoon Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tablespoon Honey 8 oz. warm/hot water Just mix and drink like you would a tea. Definitely get Bragg's ACV because it is in it's pure form. Health food stores carry it. Buy honey also in it's pure form also found at Health Food stores. The actual recipe asks for 1 tablespoon Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar but I use 2. So you may want to start with 1 on 1 and then increase the apple cider later. I like to get my water really hot because I hate lukewarm drinks but for this drink moderate heat will do and zipping on it will get it to lukewarm condition pretty quick. I forgot to mention also although it recommended taking it in the evenings about a hour before going to bed and also upon rising in the morning I found that mid afternoon having another one gives me that extra boost of energy that I might need. Also meant to tell you when you buy Bragg's ACV don't let the dark brownish color at the bottom of the bottle scare you. It's all good so just shake your bottle well before using. Using a regular tablespoon to measure often made it spill some so I also purchased a glass measuring shot glass which has tsp, tbsp and so on on it. Much easier to pour 2 tablespoon in that shot glass than using a spoon to measure. Also more accurate! Next time you go to a health food store check out Bragg's Apple Cider book for good health. This stuff really works for all sorts of things. Mom use to always say an apple a day keeps the doctor away and she sure fed us tons of apples growing up. It also is helpful for diabetics, really any type of medical condition one might have or think they have. I've learned eating a well balanced meal with plenty of veggies and fresh fruit will do the trick for most of us. Only problem is so much of the food in grocery stores has been grown with pesticides that the ground itself does not have the nutrients it needs to produce healthy foods for us. More and more though we can now find organic type foods in even grocery stores but do make sure even with those that it is what it claims to be and not mass produced in some factory or whatever. Guest guest
Carol, have you thought about a good, classical homeopath? I'm on the group about vaccines that is owned by one and they are talking about high percentage of cure of many different degenerative diseases. I did not try any of them because I'm quite healthy. I didn't see a doctor in 35 years until I had a bladder infection. Did you hear that when doctors go on strike, death toll drops 60% to 80% ? Barbara I will never allow these Quacks to force me to take meds that after researching I find to be more harmful to my body in the long run. Guest guest
Have you tried to mix a big batch of this using the ratios below and storing it instead of mixing each time? Guest guest
No I haven't. Just in the habit of making it one cup at a time. I keep it on the counter so it's not a big deal.
