HANOVER TOWNSHIP - A 20-year-old man who allegedly plowed his luxury car

into a police cruiser and eluded authorities for hours surrendered to police

Wednesday afternoon.

ph , of 40 Drive, Hanover Township, surrendered to Hanover

Township police after a manhunt that lasted nearly five hours.

Some police stationed outside of 's home wore bulletproof vests.

The car was driving was found later at the Drive home, which

he shares with his parents, police said.

Late Wednesday afternoon turned himself in to police with his

lawyer, Mark M. Mack of Kingston, said.

Mack could not be reached for comment.

It was not immediately clear if would be held in jail or released to

await his arraignment.

Charges are pending, police said.

One day before the manhunt, was expected to plead guilty to drug

charges stemming from a car accident in April 2005 in Exeter, court records

show.

His case was continued until Feb. 21.

plowed a red Jaguar into a gas station on Wyoming Avenue while under

the influence of marijuana, cocaine and a prescription antidepressant,

according to court records.

A woman who was pumping gas suffered a closed head injury, fracture, spine

injuries in the crash, according to court records.
