Please please be careful with the ammonia! That is one of the chemicals that

made me really sick initially. I cannot tolerate ammonia at all and can tell

when it's been used to wash something days after. It's the reason why I can't go

into most stores and when an employee starts spraying down a table in a

restaurant with Windex I have to run.

I really understand how this illness is so different in everybody-years ago I

recommended bleach to clean mold and was told by many that they couldn't

tolerate bleach. It was news to me because I was always fine with it but it

taught me that everyone reacts on a very personal level.

wasn't old either. I filed an insurance claim and guy came to look at the car

and said he could smell the mold. Finally after hours of researching...ammonia

diluted in water....sprayed in all air vents and inside of car totally wiped

down...seemed to help. Before the ammonia I thought I was going to lose my car

because to drive it made me completely sick. Would someone tell Dave to use

ammonia diluted with water in spray bottle. Dryclean all clothes then wash

clothes with 1 cup of ammonia plus reg. detergent. (any wool clothes can not be

saved) Physically clean all personal items which can be saved (like plastics,

glass, etc) with ammonia water. If I had known what I know now I would have just

walked away from the property leaving behind all personal belongings. Because

the time, trouble and money spent to save " what little " I did... could have just

purchased new items. All paper

> products gone....forget them. Lost 256 books, sofa, chair, wooded

entertainment center, two mattresses, heaters, the list goes on and on, not to

mention the loss of health. But....the ammonia....played powerful role in

helping me recover. I had skin lesions and Dr. Croft recommended to add one cup

of ammonia to my bath water. It helped me along with anti fungals. Which can be

purchased on-line (with out prescription) if doctors won't help you or call you

crazy. Be sure to research for drug interactions with any drugs you're currently

on before taking anti fungals. I spent weeks researching anti fungals and making

sure the drugs I am currently taking would not interact or cause problems for me

if I take a certain anti fungal.  I'm not giving medical advice but I am sick

of doctors not knowing or not telling people how to help themselves. Then you

actually see advise to use bleach to clean up mold....which is one of the worse

things to use. I was on my

now has MS. I will bang on tables, I will file lawsuits, I will write letters, I

will beat on doors....and I will never hand my life or my sons life over to some

myco toxin producing fungi ....so help me God. I can't tell you the days I

wanted to commit suicide during this horrific experience but for Dave and anyone

Thank you for such a heart felt post. You have no idea how depressed I am. As I

stated earlier my mom was here for the holidays and she constantly had a runny

nose the entire time. There was one night where her eyes were beet red because

they were burning so bad and at one point she said she had something lodge in

her throat but wasnt eating or drinking anything. My brother in law has been

constantly sneezing and on the night my niece was here she had an unexplainable

headache that just wouldn't go away.

Now that my mom's home I called her and asked her about her nose and she said

it's fine, it was a little runny the first day that she got home but now that

she's been back for 3 days she's not having any problems with it. My brother in

law and sister have been out of town on vacation since Monday so Im not sure how

he's doing but I'd venture to guess he's not sneezing and as far as I know my

nieces headache has gone away.

For the most part I don't see this getting any better if anything it's only

going to get worst. If I cant get my sisters house remediated its going to

ultimately cost anyone who spends anytime here their health. To add insult to

injury I don't know who to turn to help me through these trying times. Everyone

I talk to tells me different scenarios on how to correct the problem. One

company says to beings theres just mold spores and not mold fog the place while

theres another that says to use the Ozone method. Like I said everyone I've

talked to has a different way of remediating the problem so Im not sure what to

do.

for a fact that dave cross contaminated his sisters house, we aren't there, we

dont know just how bad his house is contaminated,

depressed, and just not thinking to great during that time

I agree with you Jeannine. Dr. Rea does not really focus on one contaminant or

exposure. Its all about the total body burden and detoxing to get the body clear

of those toxins. I did his protocal for over a year, and he detoxes everyone

pretty much the same way regardless of what the exposure was. I do believe that

is why so many of us moldies have MCS. Our bodies are overloaded and cannot deal

with anything more...

>

> I know a guy that got MCS from his work, he was around several chemicals all

it wasn't mantained, possable lack of use.

not just mold and it's byproducts that cause this.

the mucosa lineings can get damaged, I have a better understanding of why dose

Hi Diane,

Was Dr. Rea able to help you? What are the basics of his detox protocol?

thanks, sue
