Seesalot,

Really? Things can be absorbed

directly through the skin that would/could have effects on

the liver?? Wow, that is news to me... I never even

considered that something like that was possible.) I assume

that maybe you mean -- I don't know -- soaps or

cosmetics or skin lotions or something of that nature?? Now

I am *really* interested to find out what kind of

stuff *specifically*... as maybe my friend has been

using products on her skin that could be part of the

problem, I have absolutely NO idea.

Obviously, any

clarification (or more specific info) would be greatly

appreciated...

And thanks for bringing that up, as I said, I had no

idea it was even an issue.

:-)

-Seb.

my dr instructed me to use no lotions or creams

with alcohol in them since this is absorbed through

liver - he said this was an area where people tended to

neglect which could still cause problems- i found more

info online regarding this, but brain fog does not

allow me to tell u where - was before i learned to

write everything down, sorry

This is something my sons have been told by

doctors for years...that stuff is absorbed through the

skin. They've also been cautioned that breathing paint

fumes & model cement is bad for their livers so to be

sure to keep the room well-ventilated when painting or

working on models. Some paints and cement are less toxic

than others so they try to get those when possible.
