Guest guest
For what it's worth, my son was on Enbrel a few years ago and we used a kit to mix the solution. He never had a problem taking the shots and said they didn't hurt much. He recently switched back to Enbrel after being on other biologics. This time, he was at a higher dose and we used the premixed syringes. He screamed and cried horribly. At a recent dr. visit, he asked if we could go back to the kit to mix because he thought that didn't hurt as much. The dr. and I both thought it wouldn't make a difference, but agreed to try it for him anyway. He just took his first shot back on the kit. Not one tear or scream! Just thought I'd share that maybe there is some truth to what he thought all along. Might be worth it for your kids to be on the kit rather than premixed if the shots hurt too much. Good luck.
