Fund-raiser: The annual Lake County Let's Move Together Arthritis Walk will

be held on Saturday at Adler Memorial Park, 1740 N. Milwaukee Ave.,

Libertyville.

People are asked to sign up as a team captains, form a team to walk the day

of the event and fund-raise.

The Arthritis Foundation is currently in need of local volunteers to serve

on special event committees.

" Let's Move Together " is designed to inspire people to move every day to

prevent or treat arthritis. Funds raised go to arthritis research, programs

and services and patient advocacy efforts.

The event will include a 3.1-mile or one-mile walk route, kids' games,

face-painting, live entertainment, free health fair and raffle.

Arthritis hero Emma Broker will lead the walk at the start line. Emma is 8

years old and has juvenile arthritis.

Free registration and money turn-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and step-off is

at 10 a.m. Each person who fund-raises $100 or more will receive an official

Arthritis Walk t-shirt. Dogs are welcome. Details, (800) 735-0096.
