+++Hi Pam. Welcome to our group. Sorry I couldn't reply to your message sooner

due to problems on the group, etc. It can be quite overwhelming to

realize how much we didn't know about foods and health.

> I do have some challenges. I probably have sjogren's according to a couple of

my physicians, dry eyes, mouth, lips, skin, etc, I am hypothyroid and I had

weight loss surgery about 8 years ago. After the surgery I developed lactose

intolerance, frequent diarrhea, extreme bloating, and anal fissures/hemorrhoids.

The reading suggests that this way of eating may help with most if not all of

these problems.

+++Sjogren's is caused by toxins blocking up the area involved. Also most

unhealthy people today have hypothyroidism. I had both issues when I had

candida and did my program over 23 years ago.

+++Overweight is mainly caused by high carbs (all foods not classified as

protein or fat) which drives insulin which drives fat.

+++You are right, this program will help your health issues because it is an

overall healing program, mainly because it provides " proper nutrients " every

human needs in order to be healthy according to Nature's Laws on Health.

> The surgery I had is called the biliopancreatic diversion with a duodenal

switch. I do not absorb fat so I do take dry versions of A, D, K and E. (I do

see that the E is soy based.) I also take most of the supplements recommended

in large quantities to compensate for the malabsorption. The Omega 3 probably

won't do me any good.

+++I'm not medical so you'd need to explain what duodenal switch means, and how

that changes how your body functions.

+++Taking supplements in large quantities won't help since changes have to take

place at a cellular level, and more isn't better, and that takes time and

patience. Your body is smart enough to balance out all of its hormones,

nutrients, etc. if you give it what it needs, which is what this program is all

about.

even know where to buy the free range meats, kimchee, unrefined cocoanut oil,

etc. Any help to get my brain wrapped around this program is appreciated. I am

looking at create your own plan, and that looks like a good place to start.

+++Yes, please do create your own plan according to:

Curing Candida, How to Get Started:

> Does cocoanut oil taste like cocoanut? I really dislike that taste and avoid

anything with cocoanut in it.

+++There are some unrefined coconut oils available that don't taste like

coconuts, which has been discussed on this group many times, or you could post a

separate message asking for help - ensure you have a good Subject so it will get

attention.

All the best, Bee
