Guest guest Posted May 21, 2010 Report Share Posted May 21, 2010 I have the opportunity to take a mini-vacation THIS WEEKEND (a mere 18 hrs from now) but have hesitated accepting simply because of the " diet " . It would be motel breakfast & mini-marts, mostly. I know to avoid excess carbs but I think it will be impossible to get in the right amount of fats. Will it be best to consume as much protein as possible in lieu of fats? I still feel so fragile and feeble (so to speak) on my eats and have worked so hard to get my fat intake up that it really scares me to be out of my own kitchen. Wondering if trying to eat TWO good meals a day (as in fasting) would be better than trying to get three so-so meals?
