+++Hi Helene. Yes, after taking one dose of 4,000 mg of vit. C, take 1,000 mg

every hour for 5 days. At any time you get loose stools during those 5 days,

cut back on the amount a little, but continue for 5 days. The total includes

what you would be taking now, which is 4000 mg per day taken in divided doses.

For your treatment you are trying to keep the level of vitamin C up so that's

why you take it every hour.
