Guest guest
Yeah, there are some mistakes or discrepancies, but the lists are still kind of evolving. I can tolerate very small amounts of dairy, and mozzarella is one cheese I've been known to nibble. You might not be able to tolerate it. Mozzarella from whole buffalo milk would be better than large commercial dairy part skim cows milk mozzarella. Yeah, I'll go out and milk my buffalo. <g> For me, cukes are an absolute avoid. No way, no how anymore. And I did so love them. As you get more compliant, you will find that you are sensitized to your body's requirements. Then eating an avoid you haven't touched for months can be a lesson in reality. To me, dairy, pork, potatoes, wheat, etc. all rarely appeal to me. I may remember a good conch chowder with bits of salt pork and hardtack and potatoes in it, but I know I can't eat it. Not because some list says so, but because my body will let me know very forcefully within the hour. Think of the stuff you can have, and forget the rest, is my advice. I simply don't think about sandwiches at all. There are bread substitutes and pickle substitutes and ham and cheese analogues, but that doesn't cut it for me. Guest guest
Rose, You just answered one of my questions! Have only been on BT since mid May, not doing great with the wheat but doing well with the dairy and corn avoidance. Had a little ice cream the other day & my body sure didn't care for it. I was wondering if you get more sensitive to food or if you just become more aware and wondered if I just thought it was a reaction to the food. But sounds like it definitely could've been that lesson on reality you mentioned. That's good for me; I needed something to tell me this was really making a difference. Motivation to stay with it is a really hard thing for me. Hopefully this will help me be motivated to being more compliant on the wheat. Thanks for the affirmation! Original Message...... ...... Guest guest
Hi and Welcome! Heavy metals are only one part of a host of dangerous ingredients in vaccines. The cause of your son's seizure disorder may be found elsewhere. The amounts of information can be overwhelming. Perhaps you should start with Sheri N.'s web pages as you follow the group. No question is stupid as I always tell my 12 year old. It's always the smart ones asking them. Anita <johnsonrossi@...> wrote: Hi, I was just hoping to gain some insight into the world of vaccinations. My son became a different child after his first set of vaccinations and has gone on to develop a seizure disorder (infantile spasms). It's a very serious disorder that carries an uncertain future with respect to development. He is now 7 months old. I've asked my neuro to test his blood for heavy metals but she has assured me that they are not used in vaccines any longer. If this is so why do I hear otherwise? I asked my doctor for the batch numbers for Owen's vaccinations but now have no idea what the next step would be!! Needless to say, Owen will not receive any more shots nor will my future children. A couple of questions about a few posts I read here so far. What is this die-off thing? Also, something that sounded familiar was the white spots in my babies poop. Does this mean something significant? Thanks for any feedback and I'll try to learn through reading your posts. Hope some of my questions don't sound stupid!! Guest guest
Welcome to the list. I would recommend talking to the great folks at the NVIC and reading the info on their website - www.nvic.org -- their phone number is on their website. Guest guest
Hello Bee and everyone! My name is and my family recently (1 week ago) decided to start your plan for two reasons. One, our 2 year old has eczema that we are desperately trying to understand and heal. My gut tells me it is at least in large part due to candida. Also, we hope to conceive again in the next year and want to get healthy for that in order to help prevent our next child from having the same affliction. I have developed many questions! 1. Our 2 year old is also on the diet. I find that he is really, really hungry and I've always understood that children should not be on " diets " . I worry that I'm depriving him of balanced nutrition. He is still nursing, if that make a difference. Oh, and his eczema flares up terribly when either he OR I take coconut oil. Same when he takes probiotics. He does have a number of food allergies (including eggs), which makes following the plan even harder. 2. I'm not understanding how long I should follow this. It seems like if I am 33 then I basically need to be on the diet for 3 years? And am I correct in understanding that all we can eat is meat and some vegetables for 3 years? 3. Other than the eczema, no one really has any " sickness " like some of those I have read about, and I wonder if we really need to follow such an " extreme " plan or just eat whole, organic foods? 4. My husband is not willing to spend the extra money to buy pastured meats, so we are still eating whatever the grocery store has to offer. Does this negate the healthfulness of the diet? We have not yet started on the supplements, either, so I feel like we are really depriving our bodies of necessary nutrients (I especially need calcium badly!). Sorry if my questions are too vague. I wonder if experience itself would help answer my own questions, but I'm hoping to find some wisdom from those that have been there before me. Thank you! Also, we hope to conceive again in the next year and want to get healthy for that in order to help prevent our next child from having the same affliction. I have developed many questions! +++Hi . Welcome to our group. Yes you are right that eczema is partly due to candida, and also because of other toxins, because any abnormal skin eruptions are toxins coming out through the skin. It is one of the ways the body gets rid of toxins, in order to protect vital inner organs. +++If you ensure you are consuming " proper nutrients " too your breastmilk will be more nutritious. +++Yes, it he would get flare-ups by taking coconut oil or probiotics since they both kill off candida which releases more toxins, causing die-off/detoxifying symptoms - see Die-Off Symptoms to understand it: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal2.php +++There is no such thing as a food allergy to good foods from Mother Nature. Our bodies are designed to consume such foods in order to be healthy. But there are a number of problems with food allergy testing that are important to know about: 1) Allergy Tests are based up a totally false antibody theory: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/germ13.php 2) Labs do not use good unadulterated foods to test for food allergies: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/allergy4.php 3) Healing Reactions Versus Allergic Reactions: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal11.php +++Therefore good healing foods, herbs and spices like eggs will cause healing reactions. Eggs are also antifungal since they are high in sulfur, so if a person gets healing reactions from them, start with small amounts like 1 egg yolk or 1-2 teaspoons of egg yolk and slowly increase it so the healing reactions are more tolerable. +++I don't recommend taking probiotics along with antifungals at the beginning of the program, since the person will experience more die-off/healing reactions; probiotics are the last thing to add for reasons explained in my article How to Successfully Overcome Candida: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php > 2. I'm not understanding how long I should follow this. It seems like if I am 33 then I basically need to be on the diet for 3 years? And am I correct in understanding that all we can eat is meat and some vegetables for 3 years? +++Yes, that is correct. You also consume high " good " fats along with meats, eggs and some vegetables, which is explained in the article above. > 3. Other than the eczema, no one really has any " sickness " like some of those I have read about, and I wonder if we really need to follow such an " extreme " plan or just eat whole, organic foods? +++That depends upon what you believe is " sickness " since many people believe they are healthy if they do not get colds or a flu, and meanwhile they have many malfunctioning organs, have hormone problems, and other issues. +++It is more important to consume the nutrients found in meats, eggs, etc. whether you buy organic foods or not. No, it does not negate the benefits of this diet. The supplements include taking calcium and magnesium, which must be in equal amounts for reasons explained in my article above. Please ensure you read two important articles on candida, so you understand candida, and know what you need to do and why: 1) How to Successfully Overcome Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php 2) Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The best in health, Bee
