Rosita once was cancelled her osteomyelitis surgery due to our worries to anesthesia (she has sleep apnea...) I really pray you all the best. Pls update us. As you know, extensive anesthesia is a very emotional issue for us parents of these kids. I have tried everything to get HBOT post surgery but have been completely rebuffed by Cianci's clinics (his St. Francis Hospital HBOT facility is 1.3 miles from UCSF Children's Hospital). 's surgeon, Dr. Diab and the UCSF Children's Hospital is fully supportive of our effort to legally and ethically care for our daughter with fully legal medical care, like wound healing HBOT. Samir Patel is going well out of his way helping us out with a collapsible chamber, but that is limited to 1.3 ATA which has limited wound healing (but is clearly beneficial). Once she is released after 5 days, will have wound healing sessions in her Sacramento HBOT Clinic. PS So everyone knows, when we had this surgery scheduled at UC San Diego Children's Hospital, we had the same problems; but the clinic built by Bob Sands (San Diego Hyperbarics) was very, very helpful and made every effort to get her in and was going to treat her right after surgery. But as soon as we got back into HBOT she did great our prayers are with you. If you need us we will be here. Have you thought of hypnosis? About 10 years ago, Rusty had his last orthopedic surgery. We had been put in touch with a wonderful man that was doing hypnosis locally. He saw Rusty several times and he made him several tapes for him to listen to. One was a relaxation tape, which he listened to as he was going into surgery, it also gave him constant feedback during surgery that told him he was doing well and that his blood pressure was good, etc. When he came out of surgery they put in another tape (Rapid healing tape). This tape told him he was doing well and his body was starting to heal, his blood pressure was good, his bones were healing, etc. Over and over until he woke up. This was the easiest surgery that Rusty ever had. This was the most positive thing we have ever done for Rusty. He even had a tape " Relax to sleep " He would listen to at night that went through relaxation talk and into sleep. Hope all goes well. Keep us up to date.
