Guest guest
Carol, your sense of humor is wonderful, so much fun to read your post. I am very, very surprised your liver doc dropped you from 10mg to 5mg without stopping at 7-1/2mg first. That’s typically a no-no, at least in my experience. Adrenal insufficiency is certainly a possibility, depending on how long you have been taking prednisone. I am very familiar with pred-induced irritability – and a ravenous appetite. Sabine, 10 years ago budesonide was being used for treatment of AIH, at least in the UK. That’s what Entocort is, a brand name for the generic. Budesonide is inexpensive and has fewer side effects than prednisone. Carol, if you are getting the daily LS-L Digest and click on reply to group, your own email program will be used to write your response, and almost all email programs have spell-check. That will also eliminate the pesky repetition of previous Digest posts in your reply.
