Guest guest
, thank you for taking the time to look at Fraziers pics. Tell me why two bands for , a different brand? I can't tell you how confused I am! Your message however is very helpful. Can't remember if Fraz was measured or not, thank you for suggesting that. Thank you for giving me your input and sharing s story! Eileen, Frazier's mommy
Guest guest
Eileen, out grew her first band in 10.5 weeks. The neuro felt that she would benefit from a second band because of her ears and one fuller cheek. You are so right, time is the enemy here. grew sooo much from 6 to 9 months. Now the changes are subtle but there are changes. Make sure you get them to measure Frazier tomorrow. I really think that will help you decide what to do. Also, we repositioned from 4 to 6 months without much improvement. I know others have had luck but we didn't. Look forward to hearing how your appt. goes! Guest guest
Hi : Just wondering how is doing in his DOCband. He's almost been in it 2 mos already? Wow! I hope his head is rounding & all is well. Let us know! Debbie Abby's mom DOCgrad MI > > Our ped. referred us to a Dr. Ian . He is a craniofacial surgeon affiliated with Providence Hospital in Southfield MI right outside of Detroit. We are in southeast MI and ended up seeing a doctor in Toledo who was closer for us, so I cannot personally recommend him. However, I do know that he was trained at the Mayo clinic, and has recommended babies for banding in the past. Sounds like you might have to switch peds. to get a referral, good luck. > Gladieux > Monroe, MI > mom to (Doc band 3-10-02 to ?) > > > > > > Our son has some flattening on the left side of his head and we have > noticed that his ears are misaligned. Guest guest
Re: & Hi Debbie, is doing really well in his Doc band. He had no problems adjusting to it, and we are really pleased with the progress he has made in just 2 months. We have even gotten used to the weekly drive to Cleveland. I actually look forward to it sometimes now because we do some shopping and eat out when we go. We are still playing around with BCBS of MI trying to get payment, but we have not been officially rejected yet. I'm sure if we get to the appeal stage I'll have many questions and will become a regular poster again. Anyway, thanks for asking about . Gladieux Monroe, MI mom to ( Doc band 3-20-01 to ?) Guest guest
- Do you drive a Taurus or something like that? Does your husband have dark hair? I think I have seen you - or someone with MI plates- at StraightAhead a couple of times. My son's band is light blue with an airplane and a banner that says " PLACE YOUR AD HERE. " My 2 year old daughter is usually with me and sometimes my husband who is Italian. My hair is dishwater blonde. Dane's mom > > > > > Our ped. referred us to a Dr. Ian . Guest guest
Re: & Hi , That must of been us! We drive a hunter green Sable, which looks just like a Taurus, and my husband does have dark hair. Your son is Dane right? I can't believe I didn't notice you, because I saw pictures of his band that you posted here. His band is decorated so cute I would have realized it was you just from that. I must have been in a fog that day! I will keep an eye out for you from now on. :-) Monroe, MI mom to ( Doc band 3-10-02 to ?) -Do you drive a Taurus or something like that? Guest guest
We are Doing Great!!! Just a bit Sweaty and extra hot, We are wearing it 1/2 way through the night Unitl she gets too hot.. then i take it off and she sleeps unitl 4:30 AM. We went in for a check up today with Bud, All looks great! one minor adjustment. We 're up to about 18 hours a day. We are getting ceiling fans in tomorrow, so hopefully that will help the AC get circulated upstairs better and we'll get through the night hopefully this week! There were 2 other babies in there today. Looked like one had surgery and was getting scanned for a helmet, probably about a yr old. Her baby didn;t like the process, we were in and out before they were finished. So all Is SUPER! Thanks to everyone here for all of your support! You guys are great! I am here, but have been busy so i may not be able to reply to everyone.
