Extremely weak & sick after NAET treatment

Yesterday I had my first NAET appointment to see if she could help

me with allergies since I am very allergic to cedar pollen which

arrives around Christmas, and I was also told that she may be able

to help with my yeast issue. She used some kind of vibrating

machine on my back and pressure points. I soon felt nauseous, my

throat felt irritated with mucus, and gradually became weak,

extremely fatigued and light-headed. I am still feeling miserable

today...sick, headache, extremely irritated throat.

I feel very discouraged. I was feeling pretty strong prior to this

appointment, like I was making progress and on the road to recovery.

Several weeks ago my chiropractor massaged certain pressure points

with a vibrating machine, and that also took all of the energy right

out of me.

Why do I respond so negatively to things that are supposed to be

beneficial? I even felt wiped out when I tried the coffee enema.

It just made me feel so much worse. These treatments seem to be

setting me back instead of helping me make progress.

My 3 year old son is having problems with allergies and possible

asthma. I was thinking about taking him to the NAET, but I'm afraid

that it might make him feel just as bad as I felt after treatment.

Bee, can you give me some advice on all this?

Thank you so much,

+++Hi . Your body just cannot handle such treatments because

they are overwhelming it. Just stick to the diet and supplements,

and milder treatments like Epsom salt baths, dry skin brushing,

thumping your thymus, etc. until your body is stronger.

,

I have plenty of experience with NAET. I went through all the basic treatments

plus more. NAET has really helped me with a lot of my allergies and has overall

helped boost my immune system. However, I have not been so consistent with the

treatments lately, and maybe that's part of why I'm not doing so well again.

Feel free to email me off list because I've been through the whole thing. I've

also had 3 different NAET practicioners. I think if you're not getting good

results with one, first discuss this with them, and if still not feeling better,

see someone else. This may throw you off but there is another technique called

BioSET which is almost identical to NAET except you don't have to do an

avoidance, which is a major difference. With BioSET the idea is that they treat

the meridians that are being effected right then and there along with the

allergen so you don't have to do an avoidance. This might be better for you

since you seem to be reacting to the

treatment right away. Look up and see if there is a BioSET practicioner in your

area. www.bioset.net

I recommend talking with your practicioner about the reactions you're

experiencing. If you are too sensitive they may be able to treat you through a

surrogate (sounds weird but it's true) or if your practicioner is an

acupuncturist they may be able to give you an acupuncture treatment that can

help you. My thinking is that if you're having a reaction that is proof that the

treatment is potent and is working. It's doing something obviously. If you're at

the beginning in the treatments of NAET it's also harder. (If you are new to

NAET a good practicioner would be starting you at the beginning. You would be

starting with BBF and then egg mix. If they have started you later than that,

that could also make it harder for you.) After you've gone through a few of

them, the more you have the stronger your immune system gets. For me, I would

feel weak and flu-ish after the fist treatments, but after a while of getting

them I didn't have much of a reaction anymore.

It all depends on how weak your immune system is and how allergic you are to

the substance. But I would not get too discouraged. NAET has worked for me and

thousands of people. BUT so has BioSET for those things it would have been

impossible to avoid (for instance, mold.)

Hope this helps

Thank you, Bee. I was hoping that you would say something like

that, instead of saying that my body was detoxing and just keep it

up! I definitely can't handle another one of those treatments right

now. Hopefully, my body will be stronger in the future for trying

the treatments again.

Take care,

+++, just concentrate on nutrients (diet & supplements), and some

of the milder treatments I listed above. In the long-run it is going

to be nutrients that heal anyway.

Hi ,

My four year old son and I have also been getting NAET treatments for

the past few months. Neither of us experienced anything like you

described, and it sounds like you are very sensitive right now. The

points stimulated are acupuncture points and correspond to different

organ systems and functions/qualities/etc. in the body, according to

Chinese Medicine. Perhaps it would be helpful for you to meet with an

experienced acupuncturist or Chinese Medical doctor (especially one

who knows about Five Element Theory) to learn more about this--? Just

a thought...

My son seems to be responding well to the treatments, although he

still has issues with gluten and dairy so we are continuing to avoid

these in his diet (except for yogurt). Just to give you some feedback

about a child getting NAET. In fact, I don't know if it's simply

coincidence, but my son is speaking more than ever, teaching himself

to read rapidly and has amazing pronunciation, eye contact and

involvement with others more than ever before, and this has been a

recent leap...

Good luck to you.

M.

Thank you for the information, .

When I met with my NAET professional yesterday, she determined that

the BBF did not take. She said that was very rare. We did another

treatment using a surrogate for me. I did not feel as miserable

this time. She also used a vile for Fear. I do feel fearful a lot

and that probably makes me feel exhausted as well. I feel like my

body is so broken that I will never be well again & that cedar

season (my worst allergy) is going to break me down further.

Maybe I will see an accupuncturist in the future. I'm tired of

running around trying to search for whatever help is out there. I

think I will just take my almost 4-year old son (his birthday is

Nov. 10th) to the NAET and see if she can help him. I just hope

that he won't have any negative side effects from this. I was up

with him last night giving him a nebulizer treatment with albuterol

and also gave him Mucinex. I would think that NAET treatments would

be better for him than the medication he's taking now. Right?

Also, does the practitioner apply the machine to your son's spine

and then use you as a surrogate for muscle testing?

Thanks,

> thanks,

++Hi R. It's in my main candida articles:

Thump your thymus to stimulate it. Using your knuckles thump gently but

firmly on your middle of your breastbone. Thump about 10 times in a

row. Do this several times a day to wake up your thymus which is very

important part of the immune system.

You can use the Search on my website to find any word or combination of

words.
