Hi Denis

Just wondering, can you please tell me the ingredients of the EVA-K

liquid chlorophyll. In some of the brands of liquid chlorophyll

available here in Australia some of the ingredients are not

recommended on Bee's diet. Grants is one of those. I currently buy

the chlorofresh online from OS, but I would like to purchase one from

here in Australia. I'm hoping EVA-K would be okay.

Many thanks,

, Newcastle

Hi

EVA-K Ingredients:

Chlorophyll powder (2%), ascorbic acid, potassium sorbate, spearmint oil, and

purified water.

I didn't like the ingredients of Grants Chlorophyll either when I saw it in the

shop.

I'd be interested to know if the ingedients in EVA-K are ok, and how it compares

to Chlorofresh.

==>Denis, I couldn't find the source of this product, i.e. alfalfa? Can

you find out?

Hello Again Denis,

You also said you're using Melrose brand coconut oil...I've bought it

a few times and noticed that it has a smoky cocopnut smell. Have you

noticed that? In one of Bee's files on coconut oil, the man writing

the article says the smoky smell is okay, but in discussions in the

group, I think other's have believed the smoky smell is not an okay

thing. I usually buy Nui brand, which comes in the brown plastic

container, I enjoy the smell and taste, but of course I'm a bit suss

on the plastic container thing. What are your thoughts?

Bee, if you read this message, can you also give me your ideas re

smoky smell and buying coconut oil in plastic containers. (When I buy

it in a plastic container, I transfer it to a glass jar when I bring

it home, what do you reckon about that?)

Thanks very much

==>Hi , if the product is undeoderized, unrefined, unbleached,

and not hydogenated it may still be okay, but another product would

be better. In other words I don't believe it will harm you. I used

Omega Nutrition for a long time due to finances and occasionally it

was smoky. As far as the plastic container is concerned, it depends

upon the type of plastic used. Some grades aren't damaging to

foods. It's a good idea to transfer it however.

Hi ,

I haven't noticed that the smoky coconut smell. It's been a few years since I've

tried another brand to compare with the Melrose brand. I guess I'll try some

other brands, like the one you mentioned, and see which one I prefer. Then I

might be able appreciate what you're talking about a bit more.

As far as the containers go, I just figure that if a plastic taste leeches into

water from plastic bottles, a similar thing may be occuring with plastic

containers and coconut oil.

the company/distibutor some months ago but had no luck. I know what

you mean, you'd think they would mention alfalfa or at least something

else as the source of the chlorophyll.

I have heard that the Gympie Butter people do raw milk and cream, so

it's probably the same people.

The only other product I bought internationally was the Chlorofresh,

but I may now buy EVA-K as I found it at one of our vitamin stores up

here in Newcastle. Not sure yet though...did you find out about the

chlorophyll powder they use, I remember Bee asking you about it.

I'm going to buy the NOW clove oil online from I-Herb and I can get

the Chlorofresh there too, so I may just stick with the Chlorofresh.

It's a safe bet if Bee and all use it and I really enjoy the flavour

and benefits. (Only problem is, per a bottle of $8.00 USD

chlorophyll, postage is about $21.00USD, OUCH!)

All the best,

Chlorophyll. According to the suppler, the chlorophyll is derived

from mulberry leaves. They said it used to be derived from Alfalfa,

but made the switch 2 years ago. The person I spoke to didn't know

the reason for the switch.

Mulberry Leaves, and it's use as the source of chlorophyll for

Does it come in a glass bottle?

That sounds unusual and interesting about the mulberry leaves for

the liquid chlorophyll, see what Bee reckons.

Chlorofresh does come in a glass bottle, about the same size and

look as the EVA-K.

I'm not using digestive enzymes, so I haven't had to source them.

All the best to you and everyone,
