Since my PC doc said to take 2 weeks of Nystatin and do not eat sugar

or refined carbohydrates(recently a carbo junkie cause I lean towar

vegetarian diets), what foods on the approved canadiasis list are the

MOST fattening???With my potential diabetes diagnosis, I need to find

fattening foods cause I lost 3 pounds just yesterday....down to (male)

138...scary. Also, I drank Lucerna(liquid fattening drink like Ensure

but without as much sugatr and carbs.

Also, would some of you who have diagnosed yeast canadiasis problems

in " upper gi " area please describe how long it's been that way and how

it affected your health...specifically. Thanks a bunch for eyeryon's

support here. Shybasset

If you want to gain healthy weight I'd recommend lots

of fatty red meat. The fat is very calorie dense and

the protein will help you build muscle (not fat) and

it will be unlikely to feed your candida.

Adequate levels of meat are necessary for weight loss

but over consumption of meat leads to weight gain or

at least maintenance.

Why would it be a no-no for you? Ulcer's are caused

by bacteria, and red meat is acidic so it naturally

makes the body an unwelcome place for bacteria.

My h pyloria biopsy came back negative therefore i was under the impression that

my ulcer was not caused by bacteria. I just notice that redmeats right now upset

my stomach. 4 weeks ago that wasnt the case and i was eating meatballs with

kraut daily...boy do i wish for those days again...someday

Correct me if i am wrong.

thanks sue

Sue,

Considering how sensitive your digestion is, your focus right now

should be soley on healing that. Once you do, you can start eating

solid foods again and start to really get the candida under control

and then your weight will balance out. The weight loss is soooo not

important right now considering how ill you've been!

Focus, focus, focus! :o)

I see you all over the place tyring to fix this and that and losing

focus on the immediate issue which is your stomach. Bee has given you

specific things to do to help your stomach and ulcer. Listen to the

advice she has given you and give that 9 day program (enemas, broths,

etc.) an opportunity to work.

I'm guessing the red meats are bothering your stomach

because of a healing reaction. But let's see what Bee

has to say.. this is not my area of expertise.

I appreciate your concerns jackie. I am taking bee's advice and following her 9

day plan for digestion and am on day 3. I am trying to educate myself which is

why i ask questions and read, read, read...to learn.

Again, thank you for your concerns,

sue

hi, suz here...

i don't think red meat is a problem for an ulcer.

when i began eating red meat after many years of not having it, i got

a stomach ache whenever i ate meat that was cooked quickly (such as a

hamburger, or a cut of meat cooked rare or medum rare). now its been

a few years since i started eating red meats, and it occasionally

still happens. digestive enzymes help with that.

but long cooked dishes like beef stew or beef vegetable soup never

give me a problem, especially with a good dollop of coconut oil

melted in.

i'd give it a try, go for long cooked very tender meats with plenty

of fat.

==>I thought you wrote that you have h. pylori?? The very best thing

for you is the diet including lots of red meats, good fats & veggies

in the ratios recommended.

I had a couple of small ulcer a year ago. My H. pylori was also

negative. They gave me the purple pill and it gave me every side

effect listed on the insert. I went to apple cider vinegar pills and

That has really helped. It is to a point now I don't have use ACV very

much at all.

Just a thought for you to look into. I feel pretty good now, anyway

the ulcer is alot better.

==>Good for you Peg!! That sure proves that you do not need drugs to

cure h. pylori. Well done.

Cheers, Bee
