Hi ,

I was on abx for over 5 years, mostly minocin/zithro. It really did a number on

my gut. I have been off abx close to 6 months with symptoms remaining close to

the same. It seems I am on a plateau for the last several months with S/C for

over 18 months. That is why I decided to try SB protocol along with S/C now for

almost 3 weeks. I continue to herx like crazy on core protocol and I mite have

ramped up too fast on the herbs but will continue to see what happens. I also

take 50 mg of pregnenolone in the morning.

As far as the gut issues I would suggest Primal Defense. I have tried all the

supposedly best probiotics for years and PD seems to work very well for me. I

might also add that the S/C protocol has helped tremendously with constipation,

bloating etc. From what I understand, although I have never suffered from reflux

is that S/C has the side affect of putting more hydrochloric acid into your

system so therefore better digestion. Hope this helps and am so sorry very you

feel like you are being tortured - I know exactly how you feel especially with

the constant gut issues.

Sam H.

[ ] stomach pain, nausea, reflux!!

Hello friends,

I've been reading here and have been taking the herbs for month or so.

I have been very sick for eight years, half of them undiagnosed, home

bound and hour by hour tortured by exhaustion and a zillion other

symptoms. I have a great LLMD. and took antibiotics for four years

without any significant change. I also rife, have done salt C, metals

work, infrared sauna, lots of inner work, etc..

Still no change. Until I started the herbs! I just bought the tablets

and started with resveratrol, one a day. I never made it past one

tablet of each of the herbs because my stomach would revolt. Horrible

gastric reflux all day, all night. Nevertheless, I'm noticing a

difference!! !!!!!!!

I'm only able to take them two days a week. I added in 50 milligrams

of minocin every other day, sort of a piece of the Marshall protocol.

This combination seems to be fabulous! I have been able to visit with

friends several time this week, amazing. I still feel wretched but I

have more stamina, hallelujah!

But the stomach problem..... what can I do? The reflux is so bad that

it is affecting my ears, my throat, I have a perpetual cough. Reflux

is nothing new and I have been on that stupid purple pill as well as

natural things for years, that muscle just seems to have quit

altogether. . But with the herbs it is unbearable.

I have to use a voice activation program to type this and it is a

huge pain so I can't just jump in here in chat away. Much as I would

like to. Thank you so much for being there and for all your help.

Best,

Hi, ,

I'm so sorry you have had such a rough time of it. What are you eating? For

me, anything with starch or sugar will set off reflux, as well as horrible

stomach and intestinal pain, diarrhea, etc. If I stick to a diet with almost no

sugar or starch, completely avoid sweeteners (natural or artificial), and

completely avoid wheat, I have no problems at all.

Best of luck finding your solution,

D.

Hi , My kids and I have dealt with the reflux and yucky stomach from lyme

or whatever ! We also had excruciating gull bladder pain. We found that if we

too milk thistle , chlorella and olive leaf , it all eventually went away. Be

careful not to take the chlorella too long if you have amalgum filling though.

It will leach out the metals and it then caused much kidney pain ! The other two

helped sooo much though. Hang in there. We too have been tortured by lyme but

have been getting better consistantly for over a year now . The natural

protocols are key ! Bless you and take care, in WV

Dear ,

I'm sorry you're having such problems, but glad you found Buhner and

that you now have more stamina.

When I was on the Protocol, I finally gave up on Resveratrol because

it made me a little sick - not as bad as you.

I took Andrographis, Smilax and cat claw.

So maybe you can just skip the Resveratrol?

If you are new to the list, you may not know that you also have the

option of writing a question to Buhner himself - go to Planet Thrive

(the owner of the site is a member of this list), click on insight,

click on 'Ask a holistic Expert' and there is Buhner's column.

http://planetthrive.com

so you could ask Buhner about your problem.

best,

ellen

Never had the problem but heard of it. I read it could be Gall

bladder problem. If it is, diet is a must, no much greese, and like

others said, no artificial sweeteners, low sugar (no white sugar

best), no alcohol of course.

Foods that make GB stones crush: pear, parsnip, lemon, lime, seaweed,

turmeric, radish.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Gigi from lymenet posted that some time ago:

How Your Gall Bladder Works

The gall bladder is a hollow inactive organ supplying bile to the

digestive tract that is mainly used to emulsify fats and oils.

According to some natural health experts, the gall bladder can be

damaged by

Excessive amounts of fat and oil;

Large amounts of spice;

Very cold liquids;

Cold dairy products

Drafts

Planning and thinking ahead all the time

Stress.

These same writers say the gall bladder can be protected by:

Pickles

Good quality vinegar.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Another person posted this simple recipy for pain on GB or symptoms

on GB/ liver (Mo):

Treatment for Gallbladder Pain

1 large organic beet washed and finely grated

lemon juice of 1/2 lemon 2 Tbsps flax oil

Take one teaspoon of mixture every hour throughout the day.

On day two and three make a fresh batch using ΒΌ of a beet.

Take one teaspoon of mixture 3 to 4 times a day or more.

Make this mixture to add to your salads frequently or eat alone as

above 2 or 3 times a week. This will keep the bile thin and moving.

Note: If you cannot get organic beets, be sure to peel them.

Otherwise, use the peel as well.

Beets in any form are an excellent food for both the liver and the

gallbladder.

Eat your regular meals throughout this period, striving to eat lots

of fresh vegetables, good fats and to avoid refined sugars and

processed foods.

-------------------------------------------------------------

I tried the recipy today due to some pain on GB region, it seems it's

working!

Joyce suggested castor oil packs, but I haven't found castor oil in

the shops I usually go.
