My allergist calls them " allergic shiners. " They are caused by allergic

reactions to food and the relation to candida is very strong. Pam

Thanks Vicki, I've heard that tape. I have let every woman I know listen to it too.

Message: 1 Date: Sat, 26 Jun 2004 21:47:51 -0000 From: "menoqueen" <menoqueen@...>Subject: Excess Estrogen How It Affects The Bowel & The LiverI just wanted to share with some of you on this list who are female and 35 orolder. Excess estrogen gets stored in the bowel and the liver, creating what is calledestrogen dominance which can lead to hormonal imbalance and more toxicity in the liver. Iknow a woman who is 51, diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis shortly after having acomplete hysterectomy. After learning more about estrogen dominance, the symptoms and how it affects the liver and bowel she began to realize that the hysterectomy, gallbladder removal and the primary biliary cirrhosis were

all related to estrogen dominance.I encourage every woman on this list to read Dr. Lee's books, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause and/or What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause.Vickie

Hiya Fran

My son (age 7) also has had pulpotomy twice. Once as a baby and again

recently... both times resulting in a silver cap. He has had a lot of dental

work since he was a baby. His brother has perfect teeth. has had many

cavities (lost count after 14). He also was a late talker and has had speech

problems (articulation). I thought there might have been a correlation with

his teeth and his speech. I have used the same pediatric dentist for years

and didn't mention 's illness at our last appiontment. I also, did not

realize autoimmune problem can affect dental health.

Thanks Fran for the info. I hope your little guy is feeeling better!

Maddie also has two silver caps in her mouth and has experienced a lot

of dental work as well.

She had two holes in her teeth a few years ago and they filled those as

well.

My daughter who is 9 and no longer has fever cycles since her T & A, has

enormous dental issues. She has had atleast 10 root canals and crowns as well

as some other dental work. I thought that it might have been caused due to the

high fevers or the vomiting that happens ever time she had a high fever. Kind

of like bulemia. We used to joke around that she was bulemic because she threw

up so frequently. I would like to know if her dental problems are related to

.
