Saccharomyces boulardii and dysbiosis

I could really use some help here: my 5 yr. old son (ASD, ADHD) had been doing

really well with the help of Invega, but suddenly it doesn't seem to be working

anymore, even when we upped the dose. It makes me think that the biomedical

stuff we were doing was (finally!) starting to work and maybe something changed

there that altered his behavior as well. A few clues... he was on antibiotics

in Oct. for a sinus infection and we had the best behaved, most engaged little

boy for that time and a few weeks after. He has been on Saccharomyces boulardii

(we use 1 cap Sacro B) for a few months as well as 4 caps Culturelle. I saw on

this group that Saccharomyces boulardii can cause gut dysbiosis if used too

much?? I asked his DAN! doc about that and she said she's never had a problem

with it. Since Thanksgiving he has been way more aggressive with his little

sisters and always seems to be hitting. I also saw on here that this can be

bacteria? I'm trying to put together some pieces to the puzzle but feel like I

don't know enough so I'm hoping someone out there does!

More info on things we started/stopped at about the same time as the behavior

started: we got a HEPA filter for his room, we had a Christmas tree for a few

weeks, he started magnesium and panthotenic acid, we started eating

beef/pork/ham again after being off it to heal his leaky gut, and we stopped

using glutathione cream. Would any of those be a piece to the puzzle?

Thanks so much for your help,

Krista
