My son same thing .. got better reducing phenols ( not eliminating ) and

changing his baby crib mattress and not buying flame retardant pj's etc. Did he

have testing for toxicity like for antimony ?

VERY pale coloring, white lips, allergy shiners

My son has phases of being really WHITE and his lips get Whitish-gray and

the allergy shiners get darker...even with the same diet. So basically

right now he looks like a zombie.

We have done extensive allergy testing, labs for anemia, celiac, pinworms,

tapeworms and parasites and everything came back negative. He looks

unhealthy again and everyone at my family party yesterday commented that he

looked sick and is he ok. He plays all day, is doing great in school, eats

and sleeps normal and his behavior is good-great. Should I be worried?? I

don't know what else to have the Pediatrician look for.

Thanks-

We did hair 2 years ago and it didn’t even register on the bar. I have done

some detox with him, but it has been a while. He really doesn’t eat foods

with fenols and when I give him GSE, I give him No Fenol. He doesn’t have

any pjs with flame retardant (I tossed those 3 years ago), however he has to

wear a school uniform and the pants and shirts have Teflon on them. I heard

that you could pull some of the Teflon out with Baking Soda in the wash, but

I don’t think I did that with this new round of clothes. He is in them 5

days a week.

Thanks-

Christy

I get that way from soy. I look like a corpse. My daughter has that

reaction to eggs, which are high phenol as well as an allergen for

her.

When you had allergy testing, did it include IgGs, IgAs, or any of

those classes? what about salicylates?

>My son has phases of being really WHITE

Hi Christy

My boys' dietitian suggests that pallor is due to -

1. folic acid deficiency. The other main symptoms which may / may not

be present are red & shiny tongue, reduced appetite and GI disturbances. OR

2. heavy metal toxicity. Her basic approach is to: ensure plenty of

red meat in diet; avoid foods with high metals especially canned juices and

seafood; avoid fluoridated water; use Epsom salts in bath; and supplement

with B vits, selenium (esp garlic) glutathione and zinc.

>allergy shiners get darker

She suggests that allergy shiners are usually due to salicylate sensitivity.

Other main symptoms of salicylate sensitivity are emotional sensitivity (if

doesn't get own way, goes ballistic!); compulsive rocking and muscular

twitching. Her approach is to increase sulphates (protein and green leaf

veges); reduce sugars & carbs; avoid additives (esp " diet " foods, deep fried

foods, MSG, colors and preservatives); supplement with zinc, B6, magnesium,

manganese, EFA's & probiotics; try digestive enzymes.

Good luck and Merry Christmas

:-)

My son gets like this if he is detoxing too quickly. We have never

chelated, but when we ramped up some of the supplements to help

w/detox, he got this way. It is very scary.
