Sounds like she is a rapid cycling bipolar. EFA's will cause mania/agitation

right now. Lithium orotate more than likely will cross the placenta and I would

not recommend she take anything without her doc's approval.

Could also be hormonal....but sounds very BP to me. I'd not do anything

without a doc's advice at this time....

She does have an Hg issue but nothing can be done for that right

copper is high cause of pregnancy...etc.

Her docs keep recomending drugs which she of course is refusing. She

is trying to find someting natural to get her through her remaining

months. She is five months now and due later April.

I suggested EFA's..a lot of them

A good multi, b complex.

Not sure what else, or if adrenal extract, or lithium orotate would

be safe. Although, I can't imagine it being any worse that what they

want to give her. Appreciate suggestions..you can email also

I don't know about bi-polar issues, but thyroid/adrenal issues are possible as

well. I was not a happy pregnant person, and those were my issues. I could not

accurately discribe my mood swings, as I think I have tried to block those

months out of my memory! At least the thyroid and adrenals are easy to test,

and treatment w/ pregnancy should not be an issue.

Not a happy time.

Have her serum zinc levels checked. Low-low normal can exacerbate

copper/zinc imbalance which can contribute to mood swings.

-Yeah the docs want to give her prescription antidepressant while

pregnant. So I don't put much stock in them helping her. They claim

that these drugs won't hurt the baby, but that is contradictory to

what we all know.
